Kumzer Athing Story
KumzerAthing (Kumzerthing) is a hunter, a husband and a father, a typical Lepcha man living his life in the ancient time. His story revolves in the present day Leek and Saffo area. He would go into the jungle for weeks and was a prolific hunter. He always came back with a good kill. In one of his hunting trip he fell into a pit filled with thorns, the more he tried to free himself the more he got stuck. In his struggle to free himself he ends up hurting himself very badly. His entire body is filled with cuts and thorns and he starts wailing in pain. Hearing his cries the jungle queen comes to his rescue. Kumzerathing was a fine looking young man (warrior types) She helps him by removing all the thorns and licked his open wounds. This was really soothing and helpful for Kumzerathing. This is how he and the queen met each other. Over a period of time Kumzerathing and the queen developed a good relationship. He would go for his hunting trips and spend time with her.
