KumzerAthing (Kumzerthing) is a hunter, a husband and a father. His story revolves in the present day Leek and Saffo area. He would go into the jungle for weeks and was a prolific hunter. He always came back with a good kill.

In one of his hunting trip he fell into a pit filled with thorns, the more he tried to free himself the more he got stuck. In his struggle to free himself he ends up hurting himself very badly. His entire body by now has cuts and thorns and he starts wailing in pain.

Hearing his cries the jungle queen comes to his rescue. Kumzerathing was a fine looking young man with the build of a warrior. She helps him by removing all the thorns and licked his open wounds clean. This was really soothing and helpful for Kumzerathing.

Over that short period of time Kumzerathing and the queen developed a good relationship. The queen started to develop feelings for him. He would go for his hunting spree and come back to her. The queen in return would reward/gift him with lots of kill. This bond between the two got stronger and stronger till a point where he had to go back to his real home. The queen demanded timeline before he came back to the jungle for his next hunting. This way Kumzer had to adhere to this timeline time and again.
If he exceeded that timeline she would call for him from a distance. If this was ignored further, the call for Kumzerathing would come nearer and nearer till it was right outside his house
Kumzerathing was split between being with his wife and the normal/real world or be with the queen in her spirit world.

It is said that Kumzerathing went for his hunting trip and never returned.

I remember my grandfather used to pray to this stone where he believed KumzerAthing would stop and sit. This stone is at Singkom, Leek. He used to clean it regularly and plant flowers around it. There is also a big blade like stone in 'Pullow' Leek which is called Kumzerthing Bangkup, which is shaped like a Lepcha Knife.

Apparently theres a different verison of KumzerAthing story in Saffo where he is called Thing Gokmu.
